2004 Winter Mammoth Trip
This year's Winter Mammoth Trip was excellent. Kevin made the drive from SF, while Steve, Monty & Co. drove up from LA. As usual, Andy & Anne drove up from San Diego. Erin Gould and Kathy Hanson also joined in on the fun!

2004 Big Bear Ski Trip
Thuc Luu, Bertil Rehngren & I all took the day off of work at Nokia to go skiing at Big Bear. They had just recieved lots of snow the weekend before, so the conditions were fabulous! There was lots of snow on the ground, and the sun was shining. I would guess it was 60 degrees out!

Late May Mammoth Trip
I had a week off between my last day at Teleca, and starting a new position at Alaris Medical Systems. So after watching David graduate on Sunday, I jumped into my car, and headed up to Mammoth Mountain for a few days. I caught a bunch of fish, and I was able to go skiing for the last time this season. The snow was pretty good, although the coverage towards the bottom was only ok. Afterwards, I headed across the Tioga Pass to San Francisco, where I was able to hang out with Kevin, Dustin & Kris.

Mt Whitney Hike
I finally won the Mt. Whitney Permit Lottery this year. It was my third attempt to get these permits. Around March 1, I found out that I had received permits for 6 people to climb Mt. Whitney on July 12 and 13, 2004. Kevin, Ariel, Dustin, Bryan, Ashlie & I all answered the call. We all arrived at the Whitney Portal on July 11, spent the night, and then hit the trail the next morning at 7:45AM. We hiked up 6 miles to Trail Camp on the first day. On the second day, we climbed up the 97 switchbacks, and hiked to the top. We spent about 30 minutes on the summit, and then hiked the 11 miles back to the car.

Europe Trip!
This year I finally took a "big" vacation. I've had several friends from Europe that I have not seen in a long time, and I've always wanted to make it to that continent and experience the differences in culture. So on Sept. 8, I jumped on an Air Canada flight to London. I spent a day in London, then I travel to Gothenburg, Sweden to visit my friend Bertil, then I traveled back to Ireland to stay with Colm Donelan & his girlfriend Marie. From there, I traveled down to Munich to experience Oktoberfest with Jeff "Fade-O" Boggess and finally I traveled to Utrect, Holland where I hung out with Jorrit Pinakers!
